Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un shared a historic handshake Tuesday, June 12, as they held an unprecedented summit to confront a tense decades-old nuclear stand-off and enmity stretching back to the Cold War.

President Rodrigo Duterte was heckled during his speech at his first Independence Day ceremony as chief executive in Kawit, Cavite.

Even as she denies that she has joined the opposition, former chief justice Maria Lourdes Sereno delivered the key address at the biggest assembly yet of Tindig Pilipinas, telling the coalition to not be diverted and join forces with other freedom fighters.
