Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin held a historic summit on Monday vowing to improve troubled relations between their countries. Trump faced a storm of criticism from Republicans to Democrats after he bolstered Russian denials of meddling in US elections.

Boxer and senator Manny Pacquiao is diagnosed with a congenital heart ailment. Unknown to everyone except select people in his inner circle, Pacquiao was examined for heart problems on July 8, just a week before his bout with Argentine boxer Lucas Matthysse.

With the permission of filmmakers Michael Collins and Marty Syjuco, watch the 2011 documentary 'Give Up Tomorrow' on Rappler. The documentary chronicles the timeline of the murder case of the Chiong sisters, the incarceration of Paco Larrañaga, and the ongoing struggle against a flawed justice system.
