Miriam hits Poe, defends Duterte

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago took a swipe at her rivals in the presidential race. In a speech at the Rizal Technological University in Pasig, Santiago hits survey front-runner Senator Grace Poe’s inexperience and legal woes. During the press briefing Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago said voters can “disregard” human rights allegations against her fellow presidential bet, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, unless there is evidence to prove these. Calling Duterte her “best friend,” the constitutional expert said Duterte’s admissions that he killed criminals were just an “exaggerated way” of catching the public’s attention.
