MANILA, Philippines – The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee resumes its investigation into the alleged multi-billion peso pork barrel scam.
During the previous Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on September 5, 2013, former officials of the National Agribusiness Corporation (NABCOR) and ZNAC Rubber Estate Corporation (ZREC) confirmed the existence of the scam. Rhodora Mendoza, former NABCOR Vice President for Finance also named Senators Bong Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada, and Juan Ponce Enrile as legislators who pushed for funding of fake NGOs.
