Homemade soda brand SodaStream takes shots at popular brands Coke and Pepsi in this banned commercial intended for the Super Bowl

MANILA, Philippines – SodaStream does it again.

The home soda maker company whose ad in the 2013 Super Bowl was banned by TV network CBS for hitting sponsors Coke and Pepsi does it again in 2014.

The ad features actress Scarlett Johansson saying her real job is to “save the world”. She then shows how she does it with SodaStream.

SodaStream promotes its homemade soda as environment-friendly. Unlike popular brands Coke and Pepsi, it does not use plastic bottles. by doing away with plastic bottles which consumers throw away — like popular brands Coke and Pepsi.

Being banned is not the only thing the 2013 and 2014 ads have in common. Both videos also went viral.

The 2013 ad quickly climbed to 4 million views on YouTube while the Johansson ad raked in over 3 million views barely two days after it was posted.
