MANILA, Philippines – In J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, the Darling siblings were reared by a hefty, doting Newfoundland dog named Nana. The Darling patriarch George doesn’t think much of her, but the kids love her as a motherly nanny.
In the Youtube world, we have Buddy the dog, house pet and babysitter extraordinaire. Gentle enough not to pounce on any unsuspecting human, yet steadfast like a faithful guardian.
