COURT ALLOWS BONG REVILLA TO VISIT SON IN HOSPITAL
A spokesman for the Revilla family says Senator Bong’s son Jolo is in critical condition.
The younger Revilla is confined at the Asian Hospital for a gunshot wound.

Fortun adds, doctors discovered a “problem” in his abdomen which would require a CT scan.
Jolo reportedly accidentally shot himself in the chest while cleaning his gun.

BOMB FACTORY CAPTURED IN MAMASAPANO – MILITARY
The Philippine military captures a factory of improvised explosives operated by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters or BIFF.
Colonel Melquiades Feliciano of the Philippine Army says materials to fabricate home-made bombs were left behind.
The components were discovered in a camp near the site of the bloody Mamasapano clash in Maguindanao that killed elite cops, Moro rebels, and some civilians.
Maguindanao is placed under a state of calamity Tuesday.
Residents displaced from their homes soar to more than 41,000 due to the ongoing armed conflict in the area.
This comes after President Benigno Aquino promised the government will hunt down bombmaker Abdul Basit Usman.
Usman is now believed to be on the run along with at least 5 foreign nationals believed to be members of international terrorist groups.

SENATE OKS AQUINO’S 'SPECIAL POWERS'

Senate energy committee chair Serge Osmena says the measure authorizes the President to address the projected imbalance of power supply and demand in the Luzon grid…
particularly in the months of April and May.
In December 2014, the House of Representatives passed emergency powers for Aquino.
The Senate and House panels meet Tuesday to reconcile their versions of the resolution.

VOICE OF FREDDIE ROACH, BOXING COACH: Nobody is gonna get my strategy unless I want them to. We’re locking down the Wild Card completely.

VOICE OF FREDDIE ROACH, BOXING COACH: The dad’s not as good a trainer, he’s not as good a fighter. He keeps telling me how great he is, but it takes him 10 minutes to say one word in the corner.

FACEBOOK FENDS OFF TELECOM FIRMS' COMPLAINTS
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg confronts tensions between Internet giants and telecom providers at the Mobile World Congress, the world's biggest wireless phone fair.
Executives complained Internet companies get a free ride … while telco firms invest in the infrastructure that provide connectivity.
Norwegian company Telenor calls it a "point of tension" that Facebook and the Whatsapp service that it owns offer free messaging which bypasses the phone companies' own paid services.
Zuckerberg says these services are drivers of data usage and adds, -quote- we want to work this out… that way it's a profitable model for our partners.
