COURT ALLOWS BONG REVILLA TO VISIT SON IN HOSPITAL
A spokesman for the Revilla family says Senator Bong’s son Jolo is in critical condition.
The younger Revilla is confined at the Asian Hospital for a gunshot wound.
Revilla spokesperson Raymund Fortun says the younger Revilla's situation in his words "deteriorated.”
Fortun adds, doctors discovered a “problem” in his abdomen which would require a CT scan.
Jolo reportedly accidentally shot himself in the chest while cleaning his gun.
Anti-graft court Sandiganbayan grants Revilla’s request to visit his son Tuesday.
Senator Revilla's request comes in the middle of a controversy over his unauthorized visit to fellow detainee senator Juan Ponce Enrile.
BOMB FACTORY CAPTURED IN MAMASAPANO – MILITARY
The Philippine military captures a factory of improvised explosives operated by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters or BIFF.
Colonel Melquiades Feliciano of the Philippine Army says materials to fabricate home-made bombs were left behind.
The components were discovered in a camp near the site of the bloody Mamasapano clash in Maguindanao that killed elite cops, Moro rebels, and some civilians.
Maguindanao is placed under a state of calamity Tuesday.
Residents displaced from their homes soar to more than 41,000 due to the ongoing armed conflict in the area.
This comes after President Benigno Aquino promised the government will hunt down bombmaker Abdul Basit Usman.
Usman is now believed to be on the run along with at least 5 foreign nationals believed to be members of international terrorist groups.

The Senate finally approves on third and final reading a joint resolution giving President Benigno Aquino power to deal with a possible power shortage in the coming months.
Senate energy committee chair Serge Osmena says the measure authorizes the President to address the projected imbalance of power supply and demand in the Luzon grid…
particularly in the months of April and May.
In December 2014, the House of Representatives passed emergency powers for Aquino.
The Senate and House panels meet Tuesday to reconcile their versions of the resolution.

Executives complained Internet companies get a free ride … while telco firms invest in the infrastructure that provide connectivity.
Norwegian company Telenor calls it a "point of tension" that Facebook and the Whatsapp service that it owns offer free messaging which bypasses the phone companies' own paid services.
Zuckerberg says these services are drivers of data usage and adds, -quote- we want to work this out… that way it's a profitable model for our partners.
