Junk all 37 anti-terror law petitions. That is the advice of retired Supreme Court associate justice Francis Jardeleza to the Supreme Court. As amicus curiae or friend of court in the oral arguments, he says the petitions lack legal standing.

Governors, mayors, and other local chiefs are now in the vaccine priority list, placing them in an ‘A1.5’ category. They are now second in line for vaccination, after the first priority group, the country’s medical workers.

A fire hit government-run Philippine General Hospital or PGH early Sunday morning, May 16. There are no casualties, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
