Did you see that? That was a droid with a rotating body on the first trailer of the upcoming Star Wars film… The Force Awakens!

The Star Wars celebration in Anaheim California kicks off with a bang… with a panel featuring The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams.
The film’s robotic prop makers go onstage and take a remote controlled R2D2 for a demo.
But the crowd pleaser is a robotic puppet version of BB8, first seen in this trailer.
The film’s three younger leads – Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Daisy Ridley as Rey and John Boyega as Finn, also go onstage.

Get your theories ready Star Wars fans, Han Solo and Chewbacca are back!
The two make an appearance in the second trailer of the much awaited Star Wars movie The Force Awakens.

As the scene opens on a barren planet, there’s the ruined hull of a Star Destroyer on the horizon.
Then there’s the burned helmet of Darth Vader.
A hooded figure places a cybernetic hand on R2D2 – that must be Luke Skywalker.
And the handover of a weapon between what appears to be women, judging from their hands.
Is that Luke’s lost lightsaber?
But who could resist the coup de grace at the end… no less than Chewbacca with a crossbow and Han Solo saying “Chewie, we’re home.”
