MANILA, Philippines – Do you like taking selfies? Here’s a song for you.

Selfie, which was recently added to the Oxford dictionary along with the word twerk, is the act of taking a self-portrait using either a digital camera or a mobile phone equipped with a camera.

Davey Langit, a former contestant of singing and songwriting reality TV program Pinoy Dream Academy, wrote and performed the song noting how some of us take selfies the minute we wake up or right before eating.

Langit first posted a video of the selfie song on his YouTube account back in September and it has gotten over 30,000 views.

In this official music video, Langit teams up with YouTube sensation, JAMICH and helps the selfie song get over 300,000 views.

JAMICH is composed of real-life couple Jamvhille and Paolinne Michelle. The couple has a wide following. Their YouTube videos tackle the different challenges faced by couples.
