MANILA, Philippines – Rappler talks to Amy Searight, senior adviser and director of the Southeast Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.

Searight talks about the changing power dynamics in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world, as well as the Philippines’ pivot to China. She says that while China doesn’t seem ready to be a true leader in the region or globally yet, it is “taking bold moves.”
