The photo shared by FB page Biag ay Nagtaguan is heavily edited and manipulated. Many residents and frequent visitors, including netizen Dean Cuanso, pointed out that the view of the Sleeping Beauty Mountain is actually quite far away and that the photo is misleading.

As in the case of Mt. Clitoris in Mountain Province, you need loads of imagination to see a sleeping beauty among the mountains in Kalinga.

It is usually best viewed from the west near the municipality Tinglayan in the Chico River valley, but it can also be viewed from the east near Tanudan.
