More AirAsia flights from KL to Manila and Banda Aceh by July

MANILA, Philippines – AirAsia announced Monday, April 20, it will increase its flight frequency from Kuala Lumpur to Manila, and Banda Aceh from the Malaysian capital.

The Kuala Lumpur-Manila flights will increase from twice to thrice daily starting July 12. The Kuala Lumpur-Banda Aceh flights will increase from daily flights to 10 times weekly beginning July 16.

Banda Aceh, located at the westernmost point of the Indonesian archipelago, is known as the “land of friendly smiles,” with untouched natural beauty and rich heritage. The Banda Aceh mini travel guide can be downloaded via AirAsia’s travel guide page.

Both flights will be operated by AirAsia Berhad with the flight code AK.

With the announcement, AirAsia is launching its special promotion of all-in fares starting at RM216 (P2638.94; $59.66) one way from Kuala Lumpur to Manila. All-in fares starting RM119 (P1,453.44; $32.86) one way are also available for Kuala Lumpur-Banda Aceh flights.

Booking period for both promotions is from April 20 to 26. Travel period for Kuala Lumpur-Manila is from April 22 to September 30 this year, while travel period for Kuala Lumpur-Banda Aceh promotion is from July 16 to September 30.

Guests can book their flights via AirAsia’s mobile app on iPhone and Android devices, as well as its mobile site, mobile.airasia.com.

AirAsia connects Malaysia to the Philippines with daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Clark and Kalibo (gateway to Boracay), as well as to Cebu with thrice weekly flights.

Guests from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, can connect to Manila with daily flights, and Cebu with 4 times weekly flights operated by AirAsia Zest in the Philippines.
