MANILA, Philippines – Ayala Land Inc. announced plans to build 10 new hospitals, offering 1,000 beds and 10 clinics over a 5-year span.

Additional locations include Pampanga, Balintawak, Cavite, Cebu, Davao and Arca South, formerly Food Terminal Inc.
The hospitals will have a 100- to 150-bed capacity, and will be a joint venture between Ayala Land and Mercado General Hospital Inc. (MGHI), which has nearly 60 years of experience in healthcare services. Mercado started an advanced multi-specialty, ambulatory surgical center in UP Manila, and also operates the Daniel O. Mercado Medical Center in Batangas.
