MANILA, Philippines - "Big question…great answer."
This was how Backstreet Boys member (and ertswhile reality star) Nick Carter announced his engagement to girlfriend of 4 years Lauren Kitt last February 20 on Instagram.
Nick popped the question to the 29-year-old fitness expert in a secluded island in Florida Keys, according to People magazine.
“I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks... I was like ‘I don’t want it anymore!’ It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers,” Nick told People.
He admitted that he "froze" during the proposal.

The couple has yet to set a date for their wedding.
