MANILA, Philippines – Justin Bieber finished his Dubai concert even after being attacked onstage by a fan on May 5 (May 6 MNL).

Bieber managed to get away and run to the side of the stage as security guards rushed to the intruder. Distressed fans could be heard screaming Justin’s name.

The tussle caused the grand piano Bieber had been playing to fall. Despite the intrusion, Bieber and his 8-piece band managed to finish the song.

A 3-minute break allowed him to leave the stage, along with the damaged piano.

In no time, he was back on stage to sing “Boyfriend” to relieved fans, ending the concert with “Baby.”

Moments after the concert, Bieber tweeted, “Dubai. Nothing stops the show.”

Thomas Ovesen, COO of concert organizer Done Events, praised Bieber for “professionaly continuing with the show.” He added that to his knowledge, “no further action has been taken against the youth.” – With reports from Pia Ranada/Rappler.com
