Now, the first trailer with speaking lines is up.

Kingsglaive, which is meant as a companion piece to the much-awaited Final Fantasy XV game, takes place parallel to the main events of the latter.

We get to see the noble King Regis (Sean Bean) ruling over the Kingdom of Lucis, while a great, looming threat, the Empire of Niflheim, has started to creep into his territory.

If Regis wants to save his kingdom, Niflheim has offered a treaty. Lunafreya (Lena Headey), the former princess of Tenebrae and the enemy’s captive, must marry Regis’ son, Noctis. Plus, he must cede all lands outside their wall to the enemy nation.

Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame plays Nyx Ulric, a member of an elite group of soldiers called the Kingsglaive, who must take on the call to defend Lucis against the Niflheim threat – and the whole world.

Kingsglaive will get a “limited theatrical release,” according to Entertainment Weekly, on August 19.
