WATCH: Liam Neeson in new ‘Taken 3’ trailer

MANILA, Philippines – Liam Neeson’s Bryan Mills is back in Taken 3, and fans are likely to be intrigued by the nature of his return.  

In Taken 3, Bryan, a retired CIA operative, is on his way to a romantic reconciliation with his ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen) – until he finds that she’s been brutally murdered. 

Now framed for her murder, he has to find the real killer and take care of his own daughter Kim, played by Maggie Grace. 

The first Taken introduced us to Bryan, who fights with his certain “set of skills” to find his daughter, who was kidnapped on a trip to Europe.  

The second Taken turned the tables on audiences, featuring Bryan and his wife as the ones kidnapped, with Kim needing to save them. 

Bryan’s speech in the first Taken, said over the phone to his daughter’s captors, has since become a popular internet meme. 

In the famous speech, he says: “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”

Taken 3 will open in the Philippines on January 14, 2015. – Rappler.com
