MANILA, Philippines – Fans of Michael Learns to Rock, will you be seeing them in concert in Manila on September 19?

They Danish group will be in Manila for a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Aside from the concert, the group is celebrating their 25th anniversary with an album called 25, which contains two new songs – “Silent Times” and “Call On Love.” 

 

In a press release,  Kåre Wanscher, drummer and co-founding member of Michael Learns To Rock, said the compilation album is a wonderful milestone for the group.

“The collection of songs on this album represents the best of our work during the last 25 years. Listening to the album brings back a lot of memories and makes me confident that it has all been worth it. I hope that listening to this album will also bring you some good memories and great, positive emotions,” he said.

Michael Learns to Rock was formed in 1988 in Denmark. Composed of Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kåre Wanscher, the group is known for hits such as  “The Actor,” “Sleeping Child,” “25 Minutes, “That’s Why You Go Away,” “Paint My Love,” and more.
