Richard, who is an award-winning filmmaker, said that Pipo was a tribute to manual film cameras and to photographers who go unthanked for documenting lives.

He was also a film directing fellow at the Asian Film Academy in Busan, South Korea and a graduate of Ricky Lee’s 14th Film Scriptwriting Workshop.

The IndieCrete Film Festival will be held at the Paradiso Theater in Crete, Greece and the entries will be judged by actress Themis Bazaka, Greek Film Center general manager and director Gregory Karantinakis, and director and actor Kostas Nikolopoulos.
