Excited mom-to-be Rufa Mae Quinto on her pregnancy

MANILA, Philippines – After posting a message hinting that she was expecting a baby, actress Rufa Mae Quinto confirmed that she is pregnant with her and fiance Trevor Magallanes’ child.

In an interview on Rated K, Sunday, September 18, Rufa told host Korina Sanchez that she is 17 weeks pregnant. She also said that she initially was worried about it since she’s already in her late 30s.

The actress also said that her pregnancy is very delicate.

“Sensitibo nga. Nag spotting ako nung second month ko. Na ospital ako apat na araw.

“Kasi tumakbo ako, hindi ko naman alam na bawal na gumalaw nang gumalaw ‘pag buntis ka,” she said. 

(It’s very sensitive. I had spotting during my second month. I was hospitalized for 4 days. I was running at that time and I did not know I was not really allowed to move that much.)

But despite her delicate pregnancy, Rufa Mae said she is looking forward to becoming a mom.

“Ito yung moment na araw-araw na wala kang emptiness ever.

“Kasi alam mo parang may kasama ka eh. Yung kahit mawala ang lahat na gawin, kahit kayong dalawa lang. Pwede mo siyang kausapin hello there anak, ganyan,” she said.

(This is the moment that everyday, you don’t feel any emptiness ever. Because you have someone with you, even if it’s just the two of you. You can talk to the baby, saying ‘hello there child,’ like that.)

No more emptiness , tiredness only and happiness and blessing ever , I said hangovers, Ganon Na feel Ko nung una, Di Ko Alam ano yung nagbago Sa body Ko, yun pala, my little one.
