MANILA, Philippines – Filipino singer Katchry Jewel Golbin has made it to the finals of France Has Got Talent! (WATCH: Blind Filipino singer wows judges on ‘France Has Got Talent’)

The 25-year-old singer, who also goes by the name of Alienette Coldfire, sang Michel Legrand’s “Les Moulins de Mon Coeur (The Windmills of Your Mind)” during the semifinals.

Alienette is one of the 12 finalists who will compete in the next round of the competition.

On Facebook, Alienette spoke about her making it to the finals, saying: “And here I am at the finals! I had never thought of being selected out of these talented people.”

Alienette asked her fans for support as she moves on to the next round, saying: “I need your support for the last step. I thank the team of France Has Got Talent in allowing me to live the most beautiful adventure of my life. I saw a dream wide-awake! Make this dream come true!

“Thanks to you and to all! I tell you this: see you soon!”

Alienette has been in the spotlight before, as she had auditioned for Pinoy Idol in 2008. She recently made headlines for her previous France Has Got Talent performance, where she sang “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables.

The next episode of France Has Got Talent will air on Tuesday, December 13 in France. – Rappler.com
