Holy Week 2014: Where are the stars?

MANILA, Philippines-  While many take time to reflect on the life and death of Jesus Christ during Holy Week, the rest days also serve as a little vacation, allowing folks to spend time with their loved ones. Some of your favorite stars also took some time out to relax on trips out of town. Below, a quick look at what some of them were up to:

Kris Aquino, Erich Gonzales, Vice Ganda, Liz Uy in Hongkong

The Queen of all Media hopped off to Hongkong with sons Bimby and Josh and actress Erich Gonzales. She is set to return Saturday to be with the rest of siblings for Easter celebration.

Power stylist Liz Uy was also in Hong Kong with Kris and Vice Ganda and took the opportunity to have a fun day out with the gang.

Kim Chiu in the States

Kim, together with some of the Star Magic artists, went to the US for a series of tours. Some of the places include Sta. Cruz, California, and Las Vegas.

Iza Calzado in Japan

The host of The Biggest Loser journeyed to Japan, and stopped by the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto.

“Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto where business companies offer prayers for luck! Ayan nagdasal na din ako :)),” read the caption.

Anne Curtis in Myanmar

Anne together with boyfriend Erwan Heussaff took the opportunity to go to Myanmar this year. They were accompanied by Erwan’s sister Solenn and her boyfriend Nico Bolzico.

“Going matchy with some local Burmese children with traditional Thanaka on our faces. The young lady who painted it on us said it helps cool the skin and is a protective shield against the sun. Apparently it is made from tree bark. #myanmar,” wrote Anne.

Ruffa Gutierrez in Barcelona, Spain

The actress, former beauty queen, and star of the upcoming It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez series wrapped up her visit to Barcelona, Spain.

 

“Adios Barcelona!! Had an amazing time! I hope to be back soon. ✈ #springlovebarcelona,” read the caption.

Her most recent Instagram post showed her in Paris, France, enjoying time in EuroDisney.

Gretchen Barretto in London

The controversial actress went to London with partner Tony Boy Cojuangco to be with daughter Dominique, who is currently studying to be a designer.

“Blessed to have @dominiquecojuangco & my tony at the birthday celebration of @miguelpastor88 at Jaime Oliver’s London,” she wrote on Instagram. 

Rajo Laurel in London

The popular fashion designer, together with partner Nix Alanon, also went to London, and met up with friends Georgina Wilson and Borgy Manotoc.

“Always happy to see favourite people in #London @ilovegeorgina, Borgy w @nixalanon,” wrote Rajo.

Divine Lee in the US

The TV host and model, along with boyfriend Victor Basa, went to the US for the Coachella Music Festival.

Piolo Pascual in the US

Piolo is also in the US. He took the opportunity to spend some time with his family, son Inigo, and friends. 

“Just like the old days… 🙂 friends for life means priceless laughter for life.. I’ll never get tired of enjoying moments like this with y’all.. Love you guys:),” he wrote.

Sam Milby in US

Sam also went to the US for a series of shows. He watched the Manny Pacquiao fight and made a stopover in San Francisco.

Georgina Wilson in Amsterdam and London

After a trip to Amsterdam, the endorser of brands such as SM Accessories and Bench stopped by London with boyfriend Borgy Manotoc to meet up with friends Rajo Laurel and Nix Alanon.

Raymond Gutierrez in Bali, Indonesia

The host, editor, and twin brother of Richard went off to Bali, Indonesia to be with some friends.

Lea Salonga in Denver, USA

The International star and coach of The Voice Philippines, posted photos of Denver, a stop on her tour with Il Divo.
