WATCH: Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion’s wedding video
'Yeng, ikaw ang una at aking huli. Ikaw lang ang aking mamahalin,' says Yan

MANILA, Philippines –The wedding video of singer Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion has been released by Nice Print Photo.

The video shows highlights of the Valentine’s Day wedding held at the Hacienda Isabella in Cavite.

In the video, Yan promised to love Yeng and said that he was thankful to the Lord for giving him someone like her.

(I am so happy that you are the one I will be with for the rest of my life. I am very happy because God fulfilled my wish to be with someone like you. I am so happy because you are here, that God gave me the blessing of love.)

“Yeng, ikaw ang una at aking huli. Ikaw lang ang aking mamahalin,” Yan added. (Yeng you will be the first and last. You are the only one I will love.)

Yeng said that she will take care of him as long as she lives.

(The truth is, this is scary. To make a promise to you. Because if I think about the journey ahead of us, it is overwhelming. If I look at the history we have, I have  made so many mistakes, but good thing God is great, because I know He’s with me here.)

(So even if I know I will make many mistakes along the way, I will promise with all my strength together with God that i will love you everyday.)

Last February 2014, Yeng announced that she got engaged to Yan after 8 months of dating. In an interview on The Buzz a month later, Yeng said that the proposal happened in a field at The Fort, after they watched a play. The two met in 2012 and beame a couple in 2013.

The couple’s pre-nuptial video was released last December, shot in La Union.

Yeng rose to fame as winning the first season of reality singing TV competition Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006. She went on to release tracks such as “Hawak Kamay” and “Salamat.” Meanwhile, Yan serves as the vocalist of alternative band Indios. – Rappler.com
