Meet Carbon

It was last March when almost 300 pitbulls were rescued from a dog fighting facility in Laguna, Philippines. Made to fight with each other for the syndicate’s profit, these dogs were found in very bad shape, most of them injured and malnourished. With the help of animal welfare groups like CARA, the remaining pitbulls are being cared for and slowly rehabilitated.

Carbon is one of the rescued pitbulls. In a set of photos featuring the rescued doggies, the photographer definitely captures the sweet and lovable sides of these doggies who need new homes.
