MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa arrived in Manila on Friday afternoon, November 11, after spending time in Japan as the pageant’s new titleholder.
Kylie was met by Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc chairperson Stella Araneta and members of the press at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminal 2.
In her speech, Kylie said that she was very happy to be back home and to fulfill a promise she made to her supporters.
“I went there wearing the Philippine sash and came back with the Miss International sash. I came back home with the crown I promised you. And I do this all for the Philippines,” she said.
