Many of our readers and followers found us through stories shared by their friends on their Facebook news feeds or via their Twitter streams. A growing number, however, chanced upon us after keying in search strings on Google.

As Rappler commences its second year on the web, we take you back to the top 12 search terms that lead you to our pages. 

Most searchers landed on Rappler when they found its news stories. A look at the search traffic in 2012 reveal, however, that you also found us through such less serious topics as entertainment and sports. Sports stories fill up one-third of the list. Rounding it up are entertainment stories, which, though making up only a quarter of the list, occupied the two top spots.
