GALAXY SIII MINI. Samsung's new phone will be a limited timed exclusive through Globe.

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom has announced that it will be the first carrier in the Philippines to come out with Samsung's new Galaxy SIII Mini.

According to their recent announcement, Globe will be exclusively offering the Galaxy SIII Mini from January 23 to February 28. It will come free if purchased with specific minimum plans, such as the Unli Surf 999 plan or the My Super Plan 999.

Samsung's technical specifications for the Galaxy SIII Mini say that the device sports a 4-inch sAMOLED screen with a 480x800 resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel camera. Running on Android 4.1, the Galaxy SIII Mini comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 8GB of internal memory.

Pre-orders are available from Globe from January 23 to January 31, with online pre-orders also getting a free Galaxy SIII Mini flip cover. - Rappler.com
