Cloudy skies with light rains over parts of Luzon on Sunday

MANILA, Philippines – The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains on Sunday, February 7, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 5 pm bulletin Saturday, February 6, the weather agency said cloudy skies will bring light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over the regions of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, and Metro Manila, as well as the provinces of Samar, Aklan, and Capiz.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA said a northeast monsoon is still affecting Northern and Central Luzon, while the tail end of a cold front is affecting southern Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to northeast.
