Light to moderate rains in parts of Luzon on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – Light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the Bicol Region on Tuesday, February 9, due to the tail-end of a cold front.

That’s according to the latest bulletin of state weather bureau PAGASA, issued 5 pm on Monday, February 8.

PAGASA said similar conditions will also persist in the provinces of Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and Samar.

The northeast monsoon, meanwhile, will continue to bring light rains to the regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera, and the province of Aurora.

Isolated light rains will also prevail in the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila.

The rest of the country should expect isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also warned of moderate to rough coastal waters and moderate to strong winds in Luzon, Visayas, and Eastern Mindanao.
