Isolated rains in PH on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – There will generally be good weather across the country on Tuesday, July 19.

In its bulletin issued 5 pm on Monday, July 18, state weather bureau PAGASA said there will only be isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

In a separate advisory at 4:30 pm, PAGASA also said that the low pressure area (LPA) it had been monitoring was already 820 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, or already outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

So far, the Philippines has had two tropical cyclones this year – Tropical Depression Ambo in late June and Typhoon Butchoy earlier this month.
