MANILA, Philippines - Rain is in the forecast for Mindanao, Palawan, and Eastern Visayas on Thursday, November 8.

The said areas will have occasional light to moderate rain or thunderstorms, mainly due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) in the area, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

Parts of northern and eastern Luzon will also have light rain, particularly in Cagayan Valley, Bicol, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Aurora, and Quezon.

The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy skies with isolated brief rain or thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon or evening, the bureau added.
