MANILA, Philippines - A cloudy Monday, January 14, is in the forecast for Eastern Visayas and Mindanao due to the effects of the tail-end of a cold front.

The said areas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain or thunderstorms, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour public weather forecast.

Cagayan Valley and the province of Ilocos Norte will also have cloudy skies with light rain, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with brief rain or thunderstorms.

Prevailing winds will come form the northeast, the bureau added.

There are no major weather disturbances within the Philippine Area of Responsibility. - Rappler.com
