MANILA, Philippines - Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms is in the forecast for Mindanao on Monday, January 21, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
Northern Mindanao is affected by the intertropical convergence zone, while the northeast monsoon or the Amihan is still cooling Luzon.
Rains in Mindanao will be accompanied by cloudy skies, the bureau said. Cloudy skies is in the forecast for Bicol, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora and Quezon provinces.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with brief light rain, the bureau added.
