Rainy Wednesday for parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Parts of Mindanao are in for downcast weather on Wednesday, May 14.

State weather bureau PAGASA said in their May 13, 5 pm bulletin that cloudy skies bringing light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over the regions of Davao, Northern Mindanao, Central Mindanao (Soccskargen), Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and Zamboanga Peninsula. 

Meanwhile, the rest of the country can expect only isolated rains and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening. Skies in these areas will be partly cloudy to cloudy.

Light to moderate winds from the east to southeast will prevail throughout the archipelago. This will make coastal waters slight to moderate.

Of the major cities PAGASA makes forecasts for, Tuguegarao and Metro Manila are predicted to experience the highest temperatures – up to 37 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius, respectively.
