LPA now over Aurora

As of 4 am Friday, the low pressure area (LPA) was spotted 240 km east of Baler, Aurora.

Metro Manila, and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will experience moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms. These can trigger flashfloods and landslides, PAGASA said. 

The rest of Luzon and Western Visayas will have light to moderate rains and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. 

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the southwest to west over Luzon. They will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the southwest over the rest of the country.
