Cloudy Saturday for parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies will prevail over Davao region and Surigao del Sur on Saturday, July 12, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 5 pm bulletin on Friday, July 11, PAGASA said these skies will be accompanied with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

An intertropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.  

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from southwest over Palawan, Mindoro, and Batangas.

They will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from south to southeast over Northern and Central Luzon, and from southwest to south over the rest of the country.
