Occasional rains for Luzon, Western Visayas on Friday

MANILA, Philippines – Though Tropical Storm Inday is no longer in the Philippine Area of Responsibility, it will still enhance the southwest monsoon (Habagat) affecting parts of Luzon and Western Visayas.

In their 5 pm bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASA said Metro Manila, Central Luzon, the regions of Ilocos, Bicol, Mimaropa, Calabarzon and Western Visayas will experience occasional rains on Friday, August 1.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country can expect isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

All over the archipelago, moderate to strong winds from the southwest will prevail causing coastal waters to be moderate to rough.
