Heavy rains for Metro Manila, Calabarzon on Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines – Metro Manila and Calabarzon (Region IV-A) should be ready for moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms on Wednesday, August 27, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

In their August 26, 5 pm bulletin, the agency said the low pressure area (LPA) is nearing Quezon. At 4 pm, it spotted the weather system 50 kilometers south of Infanta, Quezon.

Central Luzon, Mimaropa and the northern regions of Benguet, La Union and Pangasinan can also expect light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Visayas, Mindanao and the rest of Luzon will have slightly fairer weather. PAGASA says these regions will likely experience isolated rains brought by partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Light to moderate winds will prevail in the entire country leading to slight to moderate seas.
