Occasional rains in Northern Luzon on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – With Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong) out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), Northern Luzon is left to deal with rains due to the Southwest Monsoon on Tuesday, September 23.

Ilocos Norte, Batanes, Babuyan and Calayan Islands will experience occasional rains on Tuesday, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In their September 22, 5 pm bulletin, it said moderate to strong winds will also blow through Luzon causing coastal waters in the region to be moderate to rough.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Winds in these areas will be light to moderate leading to slight to moderate seas.
