MANILA, Philippines – Many parts of Luzon will be cloudy on Sunday, October 19, according to a forecast by state weather bureau PAGASA.
In its 5 pm weather bulletin on Saturday, PAGASA said that the northeast monsoon is affecting northern Luzon, while the tail-end of a cold front hovers over southern Luzon.
The provinces of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Quirino will have cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
The rest of the Central Luzon region, as well as Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Bicol regions plus the provinces of Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, it will be cloudy with light rains over the rest of the Cagayan Valley region, and the Ilocos and Cordillera regions.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast to east over Luzon, and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds from the southeast to east will be light to moderate, and the seas will be slight to moderate.
