The tail end of a cold front is affecting weather in Eastern Visayas while the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon, state weather bureau Pagasa said in its 5pm Sunday, January 4, bulletin.   

For the next 24 hours, cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms can be expected in Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao. 

Up north, Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera will have cloudy skies with light rains.  

Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
