MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Tropical Depression Karding is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, weather bureau PAGASA said.
As of 10 pm Saturday, September 6, Karding was located at 540 km west northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
 
 

It has maximum sustained winds of 45 km per hour near the center, and forecasted to move west northwest at 13 km per hour.  The tropical depression is expected to be at 770 km west of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte by Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, in PAGASA’s 5 pm weather forecast on Saturday, the skies will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms in the Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga regions, as well as in the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Abra, Apayao, and Palawan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the archipelago will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
