Who will continue the ‘Daang Matuwid’ path?

During his final State of the Nation address, Aquino stressed that his successor will have to continue “Daang Matuwid” or straight path. Aquino has yet to endorse one. Aquino has been holding talks with Interior Secretary Mar Roxas and Senator Grace Poe, although according to Poe, the President has not made any categorical offer. In an interview with cable TV ANC, Poe said Aquino might offer her to run alongside Roxas, “probably as his vice president.” In what seemed short of an endorsement, Aquino thanked Roxas in his speech, saying “Mar, you’ve proven that you can’t put a good man down.”
