IN PHOTOS: American Music Awards 2016 red carpet

MANILA, Philippines – Major names in the music industry gathered for the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater Sunday night, November 20 (Monday, November 21 Manila time.)

Spotted on the red carpet were Selena Gomez, Taraji P. Henson, Fifth Harmony, Ciara, Shawn Mendes, Nina Dobrev, One Direction’s Niall Horan, New Kids Onthe Block’s Donnie Wahlberg and wife Jenny McCarthy, and Hailee Steinfeld.

Sting, who will receive the American Music Merit Award, will perform his new single. Bruno Mars and Green Day are also expected to perform. 

Model Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah will host the show.
