A rare event featuring the best of a cappella music and world-class artistry, the concerts will be held on Saturday, September 7, 7pm, and Sunday, September 8, 5pm, at the CCP’s Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (Main Theater).

Both ensembles celebrate their 50th anniversary with this two-night event.

The late National Artist for Music Professor Andrea O. Veneracion founded the Philippine Madrigal Singers 50 years ago, with her steadfast vision of promoting vocal artistry among a people known for their talent in singing.

The Madz has been at the forefront of the local and international choral scene this year, as one of the world’s winningest choirs, noted as UNESCO Artists of Peace, and as the World’s Best Choir by the BrandLaureate Awards.
