About Laurice Angeles
Laurice Angeles is a digital communications specialist at Rappler, where she also interned as part of its research unit. She previously volunteered as researcher for Kalikasan People's Network for the Environment, a national environmental network based in the Philippines.
Laurice obtained her chemistry degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman. During her undergraduate years, Laurice was features editor of Scientia, the official student publication of the College of Science, and vice president for education and research at the UP Materials Science Society.
Laurice likes to explore the connection between science and communities through stories.
