#WhatsNext is Rappler’s newest program that aims to bring you tools, connections, and opportunities to figure out or pursue your passion. We’ve partnered with organizations from different sectors – marketing, social entrepreneurship, and sports education just to name a few.

Then, we want to help you transform that into action through collaboration and innovation. This is in Rappler’s DNA: we want to move communities and inspire courage.  

Kicking off this program is a series of workshops by Rappler in partnership with the Certified Digital Marketer Program (CDM) that aims to help passionate entrepreneurs set up their own businesses that go beyond profit.

The CDM Program is the most comprehensive digital marketing training and professional certification program in the Philippines with a vision to promote digital marketing literacy among professionals regardless of marketing experience or maturity.

Make your passion count: Jump start your own business
October 21, Saturday, 8-5 pm

In this workshop, aspiring entrepreneurs can finally take that step into jump starting their very own business. Start earning a profit from doing something you love, provide people with jobs, and create a product that will make a difference.

If you think that you are ready to build your own company but you’re not sure how to begin, this workshop is the perfect place to start.

Our speakers include:

  • EJ Arboleda
    EJ is the CEO of Taxumo, a tech startup that helps freelancers, professionals, and entrepreneurs file and pay for their taxes. He was previously the Chief Technology Officer of Wunderman Manila – a digital advertising agency under the WPP group. He is a certified Project Management Professional, ITIL v3 Service Manager, and a SAP R/3 FI Consultant.

  • Katrina Manalo
    Katrina is the Founder of Aurelia & Amelia, a social-selling organization based in the Philippines that fuses direct-selling practice with social media to create a new generation of sellers and innovative methods of selling.

    Aurelia & Amelia combines personal service, online selling, and social media. Their stylists use their passion for fashion, passion to support locally made products to earn money and create an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers.
