MANILA, Philippines – For those with demanding careers, travel is a luxury.

We save our leaves and bonuses to be able to visit beautiful places like France, the Maldives or Japan. We strive to reach different places to stay inspired and to learn new things.

8 years ago, Bob joined Accenture with the hopes of earning more than enough to fund his wanderlust. As it turns out, his job as a Global Service Delivery Lead now requires him to fly out to the United States, Poland, India, China and the Czech Republic for business meetings and trainings.

“Even from my desk, it feels like I’m traveling,” Bob says. On a daily basis, Bob interacts with a worldwide team of different passions and perspectives. Even when he’s not overseas, his job provides him the benefits of a global experience: meeting new people, sharpening the mind, and learning about new cultures.

The chance to see the world and interact with different nationalities and cultures is a valuable opportunity that not everybody is able to pursue. It is a learning experience that enriches the soul and is simply fun. To be able to do this for work, whether it is the actual travelling or the interaction with colleagues of diverse nationalities, provides a wonderful opportunity for growth as a person and as a professional.
