MANILA, Philippines – It’s hard to come up with another occupation in the world that can even come close to the complexity and joy that defines motherhood. It is equal parts pain and pleasure. There is no time out, no pause or reset button – and sometimes there’s no sleep involved either – in being a mother.

From the onset, most mothers still feel thrust into a crazy, topsy-turvy world where things make little sense. They go through what is most probably the most excruciatingly painful thing their body will ever endure to be in charge of the most precious, most beautiful creature they’ll ever behold.

Their bodies are pushed to the limits in order to nourish, raise and provide for the family. As their children grow and relationships take on different directions, they never stopped worrying, never settled for less, never stopped caring, and certainly never stopped loving.

There is no bigger heart in the world than yours, mom. No one comes close to embodying the kind of woman that we hope to be and continues to inspire us to become our best beautiful.

Mom, this is for you. This is the day when the world recognizes and appreciates all that you have done. This is the day that we take you out to a nice dinner, get you a bouquet or treat you to a day of pampering that’s free of chores. But more than that, this is the day that we hope to make you feel truly special and appreciated. There is only one you in our lives and we are eternally grateful.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, what are the ways that you show your love for your mother? What are the special moments that you shared that you will always remember? How has she helped you become your best beautiful?
